Medjugorje Tour Director: Josip Elez (his mother, Ivanka was the first visionary to see Blessed Mother) will share his experience growing up as the son of a visionary (if her schedule permits, you will have the opportunity to meet her during your stay) and he will discuss how Medjugorje has changed over the years.

YOUR ITINERARY FOR MEDJUGORJE
Day 1: Depart for Split, Croatia. Overnight flight with meals served on Trans-Atlantic portion.
Day 2: Arrive in Split and transfer to private bus for Medjugorje. The drive to Medjugorje is a 2 1/2 hours bus ride with beautiful scenic views of the Adriatic Sea and surrounding mountains. Arrive in Medjugorje for 7 nights.
Day 3-5: Every evening after dinner an announcement will be made for the activities of the next day depending on schedule of visionaries and weather. Experience the beauty and peace of this holy and blessed town of Medjugorje. Our local guide will accompany us throughout our stay. Here are some of the activities we will be sharing with our fellow pilgrims:
- Participate daily in the Holy Sacrifice of the international Mass at James Church.
- Follow the path up Apparition Hill to the place where the visionaries first encountered Our
- Touch and pray before the Cross that commemorates the spot where Blessed Mother first appeared to the visionaries (and is still appearing to Ivan, Maria & Vicka).
- Join the villagers and pilgrims from around the world, in praying the Rosary each evening at 5:00 PM (please remain in the church vicinity till 5:40 PM at which time the apparitions of Our Lady will occur to the visionaries. Our Lady will bless all who are present.
- 1 day excursion to Mostar (45-minute drive from Medugorje)
- Visit to Latta Castle
- Today we will visit Buna Springs (45 Minutes from Medugorje) Lunch is included
Day 7: Visit Trogir. Famous for its rich history, architecture, and waterfront promenade. We will then spend the night near Split.
Day’s 8 & 9 We will spend two days in Zagreb during that time we will visit Croatia’s most important shrine Marija Bistria. Pope John Paul II visited Marija Bistrica on October 3, 1998, and during this visit, he beatified Croatian Cardinal Aloysius Stepinac in front of a crowd of 500,000 people. This event is considered a significant moment in the history of the shrine and Croatian spirituality. We will also visit Krasic the birth place of Blessed Alozije Stepinac.
We also will visit the birth home of Nikola Tesla. Nikola was an inventor who helped create the electricity system we still use today. He had big ideas about how energy could travel through wires and even through the air! Tesla loved experimenting and dreaming about the future. Come discover the story of this brilliant inventor whose ideas helped power the modern world.
