Daily Itinerary for French Canadian Shrines

 

Day 1: We depart for Montreal, Canada. Upon arrival we will transfer to our private bus and travel to our hotel and check in for 3-night stay.

Day 2-3: We will visit the St. Joseph Oratory (largest cathedral of St. Joseph in the world). While there we will celebrate Mass, and view the shrine and the tomb of St. Andre Bessette (which includes a tour of his private room, and the original chapel) Basilica of Notre Dame. St. Francis Xavier Mission to tour the tomb of St. Kateri Tekakwitha, including viewing her first-class relic. Here we will celebrate Mass.

Day 4-7: This morning, we depart from Montreal to Trois Rivieres (Three Rivers) for our 4-night stay. During our stay, we will visit the following sites: The Cap de la Madeleine, the Shrine of Our Lady of the Cape, (the largest Marian Shrine in North America dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary, where a miraculous bridge of ice enabled its foundation). Followed by the Shrine of Our Lady of the Cape, Sanctuary Chapel (we will have Mass here), and the Miraculous Statue (where her Our Lady’s eyes opened) and the Rosary Bridge (where we will pray the rosary). We will also visit the tomb of Blessed Fr. Frederic who witnessed “the miracle of the eyes”. In addition, there will be a day excursion to Quebec City, where we will tour, as well as celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Anne (place of healing and many miracles visited by 1.5 million pilgrims each year). Within the Basilica there are 140 beautiful stained-glass windows, and the miraculous statue of St. Anne holding the Virgin Mary in her arms. Also, you will see the arm (relic) of St. Anne which was presented to the Shrine by Pope John the XXIII. Lastly, we will visit the Immaculate Conception Chapel.

Day 8: Departure from Montreal to your hometown, USA. Have a blessed trip home!
